WEDNESDAY NIGHT GROUP RIDES - STARTING APRIL 24TH! |
Group rides for 2013 are tentatively scheduled to kick off on April 24th if spring hits Edmonton on time.

WHEN: |
Every Wednesday at 6pm from April 18th until September 26th (weather and trail permitting) |
WHERE: |
All rides meet and depart from our store at 6604 104 Street (Calgary Trail) |
DURATION: |
1.5 to 3 hours (depending on rider level, weather and daylight) |
REQUIREMENTS: |
XC mountain bike, helmet, flat repair equipment, water/food, signed waiver, base level fitness |
COST: |
Free. Please remember us when making your next bike-related purchase. |
PARKING: |
Front lot, back alley lot or along 66th Ave. Please, no parking in the Motel lot. |
WEATHER: |
Substantial rain any time during the day-of will cause ride cancellation. Respect the trails. |
AFTER THE RIDE: |
After rides we like to meet up at Original Joe's (125st & 102ave) for food and drinks.

Expect an epic season of group rides as many of the city's closed trails are now open to cyclists, and Pedalhead has a number of fun events planned for you and your bike!

TRAIL MAINTENANCE NIGHTS - TO BE ANNOUNCED |
In cooperation with the City of Edmonton and the Edmonton Mountain Bike Alliance, Pedalhead and our volunteers are proud to give back to the trails we ride by completing a series of Trail Maintenance Nights. In 2011 we adopted the Mill Creek singletrack trail network between 76th Avenue & Connors Road.
WHAT WE DO:
- Contour existing trails to allow for proper drainage, resulting in reduced erosion
- Spread crush
- Remove deadfall
- Trim overgrowth
- Remove garbage
WHAT WE DON'T DO:
- Create new trails
If you wish to become a volunteer and give back to the trails you ride, email pedalheadchris@shaw.ca. It's an excellent way to see the trails at a different pace, and due to the quality of volunteers it's actually a lot of fun!

CLUB NIGHT 2013 - DATE TO BE ANNOUNCED |
It pays to be a Pedalhead club member, but for one night each spring it pays EVEN MORE! 2013 club members will receive deeper discounts than their regular 15%, giving them the opportunity to load up on necessities such as Honey Stinger natural energy products, tires and receive special unpublished deals.
